Digital Document Signing
Require visitors to read and digitally sign NDAs, safety waivers, or visitor agreements before completing check-in.
How It Works
Admins upload documents (PDFs) to the Documents section. When a visitor checks in, they are presented with the required documents. They must scroll through the document and provide a digital signature on the pad before the check-in is completed.
Uploading Documents
Navigate to Documents
Go to Documents in the dashboard sidebar.
Upload a Document
Click Upload Document and select a PDF file. Give it a descriptive title (e.g., "Visitor NDA", "Safety Waiver").
Enable for Check-In
Mark the document as required. All future visitors will be presented with this document during the check-in flow.
Signature Capture
Visitors sign using a touch-screen or mouse-drawn signature pad. Signatures are:
- Timestamped: Exact date and time of signing is recorded
- Stored securely: Attached to the visitor's check-in record
- Auditable: Accessible from the visitor detail view and audit trail
Check-In and Check-Out Signatures
You can independently enable signatures for check-in and check-out:
- Check-in signature: Enable in Settings → "Require visitor signature at check-in"
- Check-out signature: Enable in Settings → "Require visitor signature at check-out"
These settings are separate from document signing. You can require a general signature without requiring document review.
