Watchlist & Security
Flag individuals and receive instant alerts when they attempt to check in at any of your locations.
Adding a Watchlist Entry
Navigate to Watchlist in the dashboard sidebar and click Add Entry.
- Name: Full name of the flagged individual
- Reason: Why this person is flagged (e.g., "Banned from premises", "Verify ID before entry")
- Severity: Choose a level to prioritize alerts:
- Low: Informational, check-in proceeds normally but a notice is logged in the Audit Trail
- Medium: Warning, frontdesk operators are prompted with a warning during check-in which they must acknowledge to proceed
- High / Critical: Blocked, check-in is immediately blocked and a security alert is recorded
How Alerts Work
When someone attempts to check in (via dashboard, kiosk, or QR), Entrifi matches their name against your watchlist. If a match is found:
- A prominent alert is shown to the front desk operator with the reason and severity
- For High or Critical severity entries, the check-in is blocked and cannot proceed normally
- All watchlist matches are logged in the Audit Trail
Privacy note: Watchlist data is sensitive. Admins, Security, and Front Desk users can view and manage the watchlist.
Managing the Watchlist
From the Watchlist page, you can:
- Search: Find entries by name or reason
- Edit: Update the reason or severity level
- Remove: Delete entries that are no longer relevant
Watchlist Limits
